A solo musical about Hugo Eckener, to commemorate the 725th anniversary of Flensburg, the city where Hugo Eckener had been born.
Premiere in the Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landestheater in Flensburg, Germany, on 25 September 2009, and five further presentations in Flensburg.

Synopsis It's a musical roller coaster through the mind of Germanys forgotten hero and premiered in December 2007 in Friedrichshafen. Additional shows - featuring revised video material - took place in Germany and France (english version) in 2008. The so far last performance took place end of August 2008 on the Valkenburg Airfield in the Netherlands, as part of the first ever Zeppelin Cruise. It ended with standing ovations. |

Synopsis
Party-woman Grace meets the much older Lord Robert Hay Drummond Hay and marries him against all obstacles. He deceases soon and she has to earn her life as a journalist in London. Karl von Wiegand, Chief Correspondent of newspaper mogul Randolph Hearst, asks her to accompany the first flight of a Zeppelin over the Atlantic Ocean. Her enthusiastic reports from the airship prepare a triumphal reception of the Zeppelin and his crew in New York.
Her fate from now on is closely linked with that of the Zeppelin airships.
Premiered with three presentations in July 2005 in Meckenbeuren.
Afterwards, Martin continued development and produced a demo CD.

As one event within the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the discovery of one manuscript of the "Nibelungen Song" in Hohenems in 2005, the musical Alamanni will be presented. A play with music to commemorate Hugo Eckener, employee and heir of Count Zeppelin as an airship pioneer and "the legendary ambassador of peace and international understanding", at his 50th day of death.
Synopsis
Hugo Eckener imaginary defends himself against a ruling of 1948, by which he was condemmned as a nazi. He narrates key events from his life and asks for understanding. He leaves, hoping that another airship will cruise the skys once mankind has adopted peace.
Premiere in the Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen on 10 August 2004, the 136th birthday of Hugo Eckener and a further presentation on 14 August 2004, his 50th day of death. An additional presentation was performed in October 2004 in Flensburg during the "Eckener Weeks".
Synopsis
Once again it is time for the yearly contest of the roses. During the recent years, Fleur has won this contest all the time. Therefore, the other flowers plan to abduct Fleur in order to have a chance themselves.
They do get their chance, but their presentations are so bad, that the Showmaster starts searching for Fleur. While the other flowers are taken into custody, Fleur is freed. However, Fleur has changed and no longer wants to be the sole winner.
The young musical by Martin Weber is a heavily re-written version of "Land of Flowers" and has been rehearsed by the Musicalclub Friedrichshafen.
On 20 May 2004, during the Count's Island Festival on the Mainau, the "Island of Flowers" in Lake Constance, the "Flower of the Year" received its premiere. Supported by beautiful weather, the audience experienced a vivid performance in the court of the Mainau castle.

Synopsis
In the age of 15, Mary has to leave the temple where she had grown up. She mets the elderly widower Josef, who is not really amused. While he is at work, an angle appears and announces Mary, that she will give birth to a son. Josef is shocked and wants to leave Mary, but the angle asks him not to spoil the plans of god. Nevertheless, Mary and Josef have to face a trial by the priest and are sent to a three days trip into the mountains. After this test, they appreciate the task assigned to them.
Five successful presentations in four different churches took place in December 2003.

Synopsis
Sofia, a fisher from Lake Constance, is not interested in the two men being after her: Hermann from the Bregenz Maritime Patrol and Pirmin Wagenknecht, a rich Swiss, living on a yacht on the lake. And then there is the new "Fishworld" company, fishing off the lake, leaving Sofia in poverty. When she tries to end her life, she is saved by the green Argos, who is going to change her life....

I planned to produce this musical after I returned from Cologne to Lake Constance. But due to the lack of money I gave up in October 1999: I discovered and bought a booklet about Count Zeppelin - and started to develop the first Zeppelin Musical "Master of the Skys".

Bobby dreams of becoming a star singer. The manager Mr. Fortune lets his dream come true. Shortly before becoming a real star, Bobby meets his former colleges Wilma and Brenda. They show him his own arrogance, he fires Mr. Fortune and marries Brenda.
Remark
Story I was meant to become my break through. The actual outcome was an additional drama behind the scenes, which resulted in story II, wrecked nerves and big debts.
Premiered in May 1998 in Huerth near Cologne and was presented several times thereafter (until April 1999) with different casts at different places.
Synopsis
Jonas becomes the new king of Suporia. While he is in his teenage years, prime minister Kay Rubinstein takes over responsibility. She leaves the war alliance of emperor Rotbart. He in turn starts an intrigue against the prime minister. Jonas dismisses her and goes into a war together with Rotbart. Rubinstein starts a successful revolution and tries to build the new order of peace.
Premiered in January 1995 in Friedrichshafen, additional presentations in March 1995.
